The relevant differences between the UDRP and the Rules for alternative dispute resolution proceeding on “.ma” include the following:

- The test of admissibility of a request under the Rules for alternative dispute resolution proceeding on “.ma” as to the trademark requirement has been limited to protection of trade marks or service marks in which the complainant has protected rights in Morocco.

- Under the Rules for alternative dispute resolution proceeding on “.ma”, it is sufficient to prove that either the registration or use of the domain name occurred in bad faith, whereas the UDRP requires the Complainant to prove both elements.

- Under the Rules for alternative dispute resolution proceeding on “.ma”, no three-member panels are possible.

- As of June 10, 2015, the procedure is paperless.
